Barcelona rescind decision on a Brazilian wonderkid

Both Barcelona and Real Madrid have been keeping a close eye on the talented youngster Endrick Felipe for some time now, but they are both far behind at this point in the competition.
The young player, who is only 16 years old, has already made his senior team debut for Palmeiras after excelling in the club’s younger age groups. This accomplishment was made possible by the young player’s success in Palmeiras’ previous competition. Many Brazilian football fans regard him as the sport’s next great hope.

After his representatives traveled to Barcelona about a month ago, it was thought that the Blaugrana were in the driver’s seat when it came to the competition for Endrick’s signature.
Paris Saint-Germain on the other hand, has established itself as the clear front runner in the race to sign him. Endrick will not move to Europe until he is 18 but Palmeiras, is demanding €35 million in cash up front despite the fact that he is already a professional player in Brazil (the summer of 2024).
PSG are said to be willing to meet that figure, and Sporting Advisor Luis Campos is set to travel to Brazil in the coming weeks to finalize the deal.

Barcelona, due to limited financial resources, is unable to authorize such a large expenditure of funds during the month of January if installments are not received first.
The club’s immediate goal is to sign new players to bolster their right back and central midfield positions. This is the priority of the club.

Furthermore, there hasn’t been much of a stir about this issue emanating from the country’s capital city, Madrid. By signing Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo Goes, and Reinier Jesus, Real Madrid has demonstrated its desire to sign some of Brazil’s most promising young players as soon as possible.
Real Madrid’s desire is reflected in these three signings. This one, on the other hand, appears to be going too far in the wrong direction and may be a mistake.
