EPL Manager and Player of the Month announced

Mikel Arteta has been named the Barclays Manager of the Month for August for the third time.
After Arsene Wenger, the 40-year-old became only the second Arsenal manager to begin a season with five straight Premier League victories.
The Gunners started the season 2-0 at Crystal Palace before defeating Leicester City 4-2 at Emirates Stadium. A 3-0 win at AFC Bournemouth extended the run, and Arteta’s team finished the month with back-to-back 2-1 home victories over Fulham and Aston Villa.

Their strong start to the season propelled them to the top of the table, where they currently hold a maximum of 15 points.
Arteta’s latest Manager of the Month award comes on the heels of his previous wins in September 2021 and March 2022.
He won the award over Antonio Conte, Pep Guardiola, Graham Potter, and Marco Silva after public votes were combined with those of an expert panel.

After an impressive first few weeks in England, Erling Haaland has been named Premier League Player of the Month for August.
The Norwegian arrived at Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund to much fanfare this summer and has delivered, scoring nine goals in his first five games in August before adding another ten in September.

After a difficult afternoon in City’s Community Shield loss to Liverpool at the end of July, Haaland wasted no time settling into the Premier League, scoring twice on his league debut away at West Ham.

After going scoreless against Bournemouth at home, in which he had just eight touches of the ball in a 4-0 win, Haaland duly returned to the scoresheet at St James’ Park.
When Haaland returned to the Etihad, he scored his first of two hat-tricks, this time against Crystal Palace.
