According to Calciomercato, Arsenal is willing to go the extra mile to sign Manchester United midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (via Football.London). The Gunners are thought to be interested in adding midfield reinforcements and have been scouting a number of options across Europe.
According to the report, they wanted Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz in the summer and made three failed deadline-day bids for him. However, the Brazilian international has recently extended his contract with the Midlands club until 2027.

Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has emerged as a priority target for Arsenal, but he may face competition from Manchester United. The Gunners are already thinking about accepting an offer.
Mikel Arteta’s side is ready to offer Albert Sambi Lokonga to Lazio in a player-plus-cash deal for around £43 million.

Lokonga has struggled to break into Arsenal’s first team since joining from Anderlecht in the summer of 2021, appearing in just 526 minutes this season.
The Belgian was linked with a move to AC Milan in the summer, but opted to stay at the Emirates and compete for a starting spot.
In recent years, Milinkovic-Savic has been regarded as one of the best midfielders in Serie A. In 15 games for Lazio this season, the Manchester United target has four goals and seven assists.
