Jose Mourinho has respond to PSG job rumors.

Jose Mourinho has denied that Paris Saint-Germain has approached him about taking over as head coach at Parc des Princes next season.

Galtier is under intense pressure at PSG after his squad was eliminated from the Champions League in the first round, extending the club’s unmet quest for European success even further.

PSG have also been eliminated from the Coupe de France. While another Ligue 1 title appears to be on the cards, it hasn’t been as convincing as hoped or expected.

Mourinho, on the other hand, has partly revived his reputation after things swiftly unraveled for him at Manchester United, and a period at Tottenham broke his excellent streak of winning at least two titles at every club he had been at since landing the Porto job in 2002.

The Portuguese went to Roma in 2021 and won the inaugural Europa Conference League title last season. This season, his squad is in the Europa League semi-finals and still fighting for a top-four finish in Serie A to return to the Champions League.

This, combined with the fact that Mourinho’s long-term buddy, Luis Campos, has taken on a football advisor job at PSG during the last 11 months, has fueled rumors of a reunion in Paris.

Campos coached against Mourinho in Portugal over 20 years ago and later worked with him at Real Madrid as a scout and analyst. Since then, he has worked extensively in France, assembling the squads that won Ligue 1 in 2017 and 2021, respectively, the only two clubs to be crowned French champions other than PSG in more than a decade.

But, in terms of Mourinho, PSG must contact him if they want him.

“If they looked for me, they didn’t find me, and they haven’t reached out to me,” he said, according to Sky Sport Italia.

Galtier, who is under contract with PSG until 2024, has stated publicly that he intends to stay.

“I plan to be the coach of Paris Saint-Germain,” he recently stated.

“We’re working with Luis Campos to put together a team for next season.” On the improvements we want to make to strengthen the squad, we want to have more variation in our game, whether through a different setup or better balance. We’ve been working on it for a few weeks.”
