Kibi Technical School paired against robust opponents after a draw today

The draw for the 2023 Kingsley KeepFit Club, Inter schools Championship has elicited some fascinating groups, with Kibi Technical School expected to come up against Asiakwa St. Stephen SHS, while Abuakwa State College battles others.
This year’s Kingsley KeepFit Club inter-school competition draw was held today at the Abuakwa South Municipal Education Hall in Kibi, at 9 a.m.

The proposed date for the commencement of the tournament was Saturday, September 30 to Saturday, November 4, in Abuakwa South Municipality.
The domestic cup competition has gradually seized shape after traversing the first phase. In the maiden edition, Kibi Technical Institute ousted Abuakwa State College 4-0 in the final to emerge champions.

This year’s competition will be played at two selected venues which are Maase Methodist School Park and Akim Asiakwa SOS Park. Six Senior High Schools will contend in this year’s Kingsley KeepFit Club game for the ultimate.
Champions, Kibi Technical Institute being paired in Group A with Kibi Technical Senior High School and Asiakwa St. Stephen Senior High School where they will use the Maase Methodist Park.

Elsewhere in Group B, first-edition runners-up Abuakwa State College will battle with Akim Asafo Senior High School and Apedwa Presby Senior High School at the Akim Asiakwa SOS park.
A representative for Hon. Dr. Kingsley Agyeman, the solitary financial of the tournament, Retired GPL Referee Bismark Appiah disclosed that Hon. Dr. Kingsley plans to develop football from Abuakwa South from the grassroots, to foster a new generation of Ghana football.

”He believes in developing the well-being of an individual through Education, and we cannot take physical activity out of Education hence the need for this special initiative” He added.
Attendance was Representatives of Hon. Dr. Kingsley Agyeman, Retired GPL Referee Bismark Appiah and Sintim Musah, Abuakwa South Education Director, Mrs. Comfort Ofori-Appiah, Abuakwa South Sports Coordinator Mrs. Edith Akpah.
Among others were Abuakwa South P.E. and Sports teacher secretary, Mr. Michael Nimako Boateng, and all the Six Senior High School envoys.
