Following the close of the summer transfer window, the Premier League has officially confirmed Manchester City’s team for the 2022/23 season. No Premier League squad can have more than 17 players who are not home grown while the balance of the team is up to a maximum of 25 players which must be home grown.
The Citizens has 14 players that are not native to the city, a player is considered home grown if they have been registered with any English club for at least three years before to their 21st birthday regardless of nationality.

Nathan Ake is City’s only homegrown player who was not born in the United Kingdom. and each club may also keep Under-21 registered players who are eligible in excess of the squad limit of 25 players.
