Man United to miss four key players against Leeds

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Anthony Martial, Scott McTominay and Antony will all miss Wednesday’s Premier League clash with Leeds.
The Red Devils entertain managerless Leeds at Old Trafford in what will be the third of eight games they face this month.
Ten Hag’s side are in good form, having won five of their seven league games since the post-World Cup restart, while they are also in the Carabao Cup final and the FA Cup fifth round.

However, injuries have started to ramp up for United, with Donny van de Beek, Christian Eriksen, Martial and McTominay all missing from Saturday’s 2-1 win over Crystal Palace.
Midfield lynchpin Casemiro was also sent off in the clash against the Eagles and is set to miss three games through suspension, with the Dutchman confirming the club would not appeal this.

And speaking ahead of tomorrow’s game, Ten Hag outlined further injury concerns for his side.
He told reporters: ‘Martial and McTominay they are not involved tomorrow.
‘It is the same with Antony. He is not available so we will have to sort it out.’
Speaking at the weekend, Ten Hag revealed Martial was set for another period on the sidelines as he continues his injury hit season, despite scoring on his return to action against Nottingham Forest last week.

He said: ‘Martial had a setback from the game when he returned. He thought he could build up, but he dropped a little bit back. We have to wait; we have to be patient, not to force it.’
On McTominay, Ten Hag had explained his absence on deadline day: ‘Scott will still be absent. I think also the next game [against Palace] he will be. We have to see how that process will go.’

Antony’s unavailability is as of yet unexplained, but there was positive news for Ten Hag at the weekend.
Diogo Dalot returned to the bench after injury, while Jadon Sancho was also among the substitutes in a Premier League game for the first time since October after he returned to action in their Carabao Cup clash with Nottingham Forest last Wednesday.
United can go level on points with Man City if they win tomorrow’s clash which kicks off at 8pm.
