Premier League club agreed £15m for Mohammed Salisu transfer
Fulham have agreed a £15million deal with Southampton for Mohammed Salisu, talkSPORT understands. The 24-year-old Ghanaian centre back will arrive amid a number of potential departures at Craven Cottage.
Salisu has been offered a route back to the Premier League. The Cottagers impressed in their first season back in the Premier League by securing a 10th place finish.
They also reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup, with the west London outfit looking to go one step further next term.
Fulham have already secured the services of Willian for another season after he snubbed interest from Nottingham Forest.
Salisu could be the next man through the door at Craven Cottage after they agreed a fee with the now relegated Southampton.
The 24-year-old has made 80 appearances for the Saints since he signed from Real Valladolid in 2020. He featured 28 times last season but was unable to help maintain Southampton’s status in the Premier League.

The Ghana international may not be the only defender to leave the club as Newcastle eye a move for Tino Livramento.
Alongside Salisu, Fulham want to sign Ajax’s Calvin Bassey for the heart of their defence. The former Rangers man is also believed to be of interest to Brighton after just one season with the Dutch giants.
Whilst new signings could arrive at Fulham, they may be set for two huge departures this summer.
talkSPORT understands they are bracing for boss Marco Silva to leave as he weighs up a £40million offer from Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli.
Star striker Aleksandar Mitrovic has also reportedly said he will never play for the club again amid two rejected offers from Al Hilal.
