Salisu could be the next man through the door at Craven Cottage after they agreed a fee with the now relegated Southampton.

The 24-year-old has made 80 appearances for the Saints since he signed from Real Valladolid in 2020. He featured 28 times last season but was unable to help maintain Southampton’s status in the Premier League.
