Erik ten Hag was named Premier League Manager of the Month for the month of September.
Erik Ten Hag has been named Premier League Manager of the Month for the month of September. This is only Manchester United’s second win in the award’s history since Sir Alex Ferguson stepped down as manager.
Manchester United’s domestic matches against Crystal Palace and Leeds United had to be rescheduled as a result of the Queen’s death. Ten Hag, on the other hand, presided over two Premier League victories for Manchester United against Leicester and Arsenal.

Marcus Rashford was named November’s Player of the Month after scoring two goals and assisting on two more in games against Arsenal and Leicester. This award gives United a two-for-one month.
Ten Hag suffered two crushing defeats in his first two games as United manager, to Brighton and Brentford. Ten Hag has since led United to four consecutive league victories over Liverpool, Southampton, Leicester, and Arsenal.
United’s Europa League group stage campaign got off to a shaky start with a 1-0 loss at home to Real Sociedad. Despite this, United won their next game against the Moldovan club Sheriff.

Ten Hag will compete against Pep Guardiola, a former teammate of his at Bayern Munich, in the Manchester derby on Sunday at City. Pep Ten Hag was in charge of Bayern Munich’s reserve team when Pep Guardiola was the club’s head coach.
In the run-up to the World Cup, which begins on November 20, United will have nine games scheduled in October.

Manchester United will play Omonia Nicosia in their third Europa League game on the island of Cyprus following the derby. Following that, they will play Everton at Goodison Park before returning home for three consecutive games against Omonia, Newcastle, and Tottenham.
On October 22, United will travel to Chelsea before hosting Sheriff and West Ham the following day.
Ivan Toney of Brentford has been named Premier League Goal of the Month for September.

And it’s a Manchester United double after forward Marcus Rashford was named Premier League Player of the Month for September.
Under Erik ten Hag, the England international resurgence continued, with two goals and two assists in the team’s only two league games this month.

Rashford was directly involved in all of United’s goals in September, including victories over Leeds and Arsenal.
It is his first time winning the award since January 2019.
